Exploring Yen Minh, Vietnam by Motorcycle
Part of my 4 Days Ha Giang Loop Ultimate Itinerary was to explore the Yen Minh district. It was on the second day of my itinerary and turned out to be the longest day of my 4-day trip in the Ha Giang Loop. In this blog post, I am sharing my photo collection from Yen Minh to inspire you with interesting spots and scenes that you shouldn’t miss in Yen Minh.
Yen Minh Town Proper
A normal day in rural Vietnam, people are chilling and taking life in a slow pace. Pho is a staple partnered with an extra strong Vietnamese black coffee.
Hmong Tribe
A quick stop in Dốc Thẩm Mã road, you’ll find these hmong set up their shop selling their hand made crafts and food products while a group of children selling freshly picked flowers.
Restaurant on Mountain
I and my group had a food stop in a random restaurant nestled in an intersection on top of the mountain. This intersection connects Yen Minh and Dong Van District.
The restaurant sells freshly grilled sweet potatoes, sausages, and boiled eggs. The owner was so friendly that she traded the food that I ate for the Taiwan Dollar that she saw in my wallet.
Lung Cu Flag Point
A long side trip to the border of Vietnam and China and the northern-most part of Vietnam, Lung Cu.
